| When submitting to the big directories, do they allow dynamic links? If I pay $*99 to Yahoo! to get listed in the directory, I would like to use a dynamic link to register how many incoming hits I am getting from them. Same with DMOZ. Do they allow these kind of links? |

| I doubt that the DMOZ or Yahoo would accept dynamic links. If you submitted it to the DMOZ the Editors would probably just delete the dynamic variable or mistake it for an affiliate link. I didn't find anything specific in the DMOZ Guidelines pertaining to dynamic links except that the URL can not redirect to another. What you could do is submit *** then keep ***** of your server logs to see how many hits you receive from them. That is what I do. |
